The company supplies well-known customers throughout Europe from e.g. the automotive industry, medical technology or broadcasting technology</p> <p>As a profit center, we are measured by three criteria: <strong>quality - delivery time – price</strong></p> <p> <ul> <li>Acting instead of reacting</li> <li>Avoid instead of decrease</li> <li>Produce quality and not test out ... are our principles ...</li> </ul> </p> <p>... and you, as the manager of the Fischer Connectors group, always strive to achieve these goals and help make us better every day.</p> <p>We are strengthening for our management team and are looking for one now</p> <p><strong>Manager Cable Assembly (m/w/d)</strong></p> <p>full-time (at least 40 hours / week)<br/> We offer a varied and demanding field of activity!</p> <p><strong>Your area of responsibility:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Organize and run the shop floor assembly activities daily</li> <li>Manage, coach and motivate a team of 15-20 people</li> <li>Drive the allocation of volumes inhouse and outsourced based on product mix, capacity and cost targets criteria</li> <li>Ensure that manufacturing processes are optimized and that products meets our manufacturing and standardization processes</li> <li>Define and implement strategies to minimize cost and optimize customer delivery performance</li> <li>Make sourcing decisions such as the selection partners and local suppliers</li> <li>Feedback data and statistical information to optimize the product offering and maximize the business profitability</li> <li>Develop operations related plans and budgets over multi-year horizons</li> <li>Initiate improvement to business and manufacturing processes</li> <li>Collaborate closely with stakeholders in Operations, R&amp;D, Sales, Marketing, Quality with a focus on delivering results</li> <li>Play a key role in identifying, implementing and integrating processes to enable cost effective and scalable sets up</li> <li>Support subsidiaries with toolkits, best practices and training to implement and run prototyping sets up</li> <li>Motivate and mentor team members and focus them on achieving operational goals</li> <li>Take ownership of business results and manage operational KPIs</li> </ul> <p><strong>They are characterized by their profile:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Min 5-7 years in a similar role in the electronic industry, ideally in the cable assembly</li> <li>Hands on and “yes” mindset</li> <li>End to end troubleshooting capabilities</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li> <li>Strong leadership and mentoring skills</li> <li>Proven results in managing cross-functional and multisite teams</li> <li>Proven crisis management skills</li> <li>Structured, systematic and rigorous mindset</li> <li>Strong analytical skills</li> <li>Willingness to travel up to 15%</li> <li>Experience with SAP is a plus</li> <li>Fluent German and English, French is a plus</li> </ul> <p>We expect commitment, flexibility and technical understanding from you in order to meet our high standard of advice and quality.<br/> We offer you a diversified, responsible area of responsibility as well as a future-proof workplace in a nice and efficient team.
